Neuro-Trauma
What is Neuro-Trauma
Neuro Trauma refers to physical injuries that affect the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. These injuries can result from accidents, falls, sports activities, or violence, and they may cause temporary or permanent neurological damage. The goal of neuro trauma care is to minimize brain and spinal cord damage and improve the recovery process through immediate medical intervention and long-term rehabilitation.
Symptoms
- Sudden loss of consciousness or confusion
- Persistent headaches or dizziness
- Nausea, vomiting, or memory loss
- Weakness or numbness in the limbs
- Difficulty walking, speaking, or seeing
- Seizures or abnormal movements
- Loss of coordination or balance

- Changes in behavior, mood, or cognitive abilities
When to see a doctor?
If someone experiences a head injury, especially with loss of consciousness, confusion, persistent headaches, or signs of a spinal cord injury (such as numbness or weakness), seek immediate medical attention. Any trauma to the head or spine should be evaluated by a doctor, as early treatment can help prevent further damage.
